Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) teaches family and friends effective strategies for helping their loved one to change and for feeling better themselves.
CRAFT is a skills-based program that impacts families in multiple areas of their lives, including self-care, pleasurable activities, problem-solving, and goal setting. At the same time, CRAFT addresses their loved one’s resistance to change. CRAFT teaches families behavioral and motivational strategies for interacting with their loved one.

In celebration of National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital’s 3rd Annual Ugly Sweater Run will take place Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 4 p.m.! Runners and walkers are encouraged to participate and wear their “ugliest Christmas sweater.”
There will also be a Kids K for children ages 10 and under. The Kids K is free, registration is required. Participants of the Kids K will receive a participation trophy. The Kids K will begin at 3:30 p.m., before the 5K. The Kids K will take place in the parking lot in front of the Freedom Pavilion.

Accreditation from the Joint Commission
Highland-Clarksburg Hospital announced it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Hospital Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care. The Joint Commission generally reviews a Hospital’s accreditation on a tri-annual basis. Highland-Clarksburg’s original accreditation was October 2013.
